Grab a drink, this is going to be a long one…

Karina and Nehal had a spectacular affair at the St. Regis in Monarch Beach a few weeks ago. Karina co-owns the company Preferred Circle and throws events for some of the wealthiest elite in Los Angeles. She says she started planning her wedding two years ago and meticulously picked her vendors. Well it shows, the room was spectacular! There are too many vendors involved to go into detail about them all so I will just list them; but this was one of the most amazing reception rooms I’ve seen to date! These vendors throw some of the hottest parties in L.A. so you can be assured that if they are on this list they are amongst the best of the best!

I will make one mention of the fabulous Stephanie Lairson. She is rapidly becoming one of the most sought after event planners in Southern California for a reason.

*Brides note about the shoes – Christian Louboutin Beverly Hills – I saw a photo of these shows in Vogue over a year before the wedding. I had to have them! I was on the hunt. I went to 2 shops in New York and checked Neimans and Saks. I was coming back from a meeting one day in Beverly Hills and I saw the Christian Louboutin store on Burton Way. I decided to pop in and there they were – glowing in the window. I bought the very last pair – luckily they were my size! Apparently they made very few of this style and they sold out fast. I wanted to wear them so bad so I wore them around the house so I wouldn’t get the bottoms scuffed – they waited a whole year to make their debut!

Juliana and Aizaz had 2 beautiful ceremonies! The first, a catholic ceremony at the oldest church in California, The Mission San Juan Capistrano Serra Church. The second an Indian ceremony on the lawn at The Island Hotel in Newport Beach.

After the second ceremony guests were escorted to the party which was wall to wall lounges under a flowing ceiling of white cream drapery.

Buffet would be an understatment, there were so many stations of food and all of it looked unbelievable. Including, a full sushi bar.

The wine provided by the bride’s father from his own winery.

Cara and Clint had a crazy good time up at Rancho Del Cielo a few weeks ago. To say the whole crew could party is an understatement! Cara is so full of life and everyone around just lights up when she’s in the room. Cara and Clint’s daughter Ella was the flower girl. They are amazing parents and it was really cool to watch them include their daughter in the ceremony.

Rancho Del Cielo is a beautiful piece of property overlooking Malibu so Cara went with a beach theme. The property was lined with tons of white lanterns and starfish.

Melissa and Matt were married a few weeks ago at a beautiful private estate in Agoura Hills. The house belongs to Melissa’s best friend, whose father is an eccentric movie director with a penchant for collecting old things. Not antiques necessarily, just thousands of knick knacks and toys from the 50’s and 60’s. Anyway it was a very cool piece of property with a beautiful reception site, private lake, and 2 suspended bridges that cross the lakes. Melissa’s best friend, Logan owns a fab bakery in West Hollywood called Buttercake. She made the cupcakes….(better than sprinkles :-)

A few weeks ago the florist from Sharon + Ken’s wedding in Cabo flew into L.A. to shoot with us. She needed some new publicity shots and she brought along the family for a couple pics too :-) Elena and Carlos are a husband and wife team and do amazing work! We had a great shoot with Sarah and Greg down at Leo Carillio beach in Malibu. They are getting married up in Santa Barbara next month. One of our favorite baby’s first year clients just turned one. Happy Birthday Anjali! She is the cutest thing and so full of personality. As for the other “kids” I have never seen dogs work for the promise of a McDonald’s cheeseburger but they just turned it on at the sheer thought of those golden arches…

So, I am way behind on blogging and promise to post a ton this week. If I forget anyone, sorry :-)
