Some Fresh Kennedy Pics…
Here’s a couple of fresh pics of Kennedy that Breanne and Carrie took a few days ago. More to come :- )

Lisa + Carlos
Lisa and Carlos had a spectacular wedding at the Hotel Bel Air. It was coordinated to perfection by the fabulous Mary Dann and her hardworking team. Flowers by The Hidden Garden, who did a phenomenal job! Lisa and Carlos had very specific ideas and Hidden Garden executed them to perfection. Cake by Cake Divas. Make-up by Natalie @ Bobbe Joy.
Lisa and Carlos met 12 years ago and live on a fantastic ranch in the hills of Malibu. Carlos is from Argentina and he brought so many cultural details into the wedding. From the vases that held the flowers to the tray that held the yarmulkes, everything was imported. They say it is all in the details and it really is. The whole set-up was geared toward guest enjoyment. With incredible food, private lounges, fantastic music…and gifts….. I’d say their guests had a pretty amazing time!

Not sure where the bling is from, but the dress was a beautiful Jim Hjelm

Here is Carlos’s Mom checking it out…

There were crystal chandeliers hanging from the trees all over the cocktail lawn. They were beautiful!

I was specifically asked not to do anything “formal” but had to try and sneak off at least one :-)

I love this shot of the bride dancing with her father, he was so proud of his little girl…

It was all I could do to keep myself from swiping a few fries :-) This is my kind of food. Filets of Argentinean beef, french fries and copious amounts of Malbec!

The man gettin’ down!

Kara + Travis
This will show you how far behind I am on blogging…that’s right this was shot in November :-) I am catching up though… Kara and Travis got married in a beautiful church down in Palos Verdes called The Neighborhood Church, it has amazing views of the ocean. It was built by Italian architects for J.J. Haggarty in 1927 as a summer home. The estate was purchased by the church in 1949 for $60,000. You couldn’t even by a parking spot in Palos Verdes for that now! Anyway, enough history, On to the pics….
If you ever wondered how shallow the depth of field on a 100mm macro is…

The flower girl let me get one shot in before she took off but it was all I needed…

It was all downhill after the speeches. These photos are the tamest :-)

Clara+Shaun…
What an awesome photo shoot! I was really looking forward to shooting as I had taken off a few weeks for the birth of our daughter (as seen below, that’s right you can expect shameless mentions of my beautiful daughter in every post) :-) It’s amazing what a little R&R will do for the creative flow.
We went downtown to Disney Concert Hall for something a little more modern. I could shoot there all day long. There is beautiful warm light bouncing around everywhere. They also have cool gardens, stairs, views, etc. Clara and Shaun had a bit of a nervous start and couldn’t stop laughing for about half an hour. It was pretty funny and made for some great shots. After that we got down to business and walked away with some great images. Now that they are warmed up for the camera, I can’t wait to see them let loose at their wedding…

Next Stop Vogue…
Our good friends Mike and Emi from Evoke Photography came over the other day for Kennedy’s first photo shoot. Needless to say, it was fabulous :-) Kennedy is 7 days old and already she knows how to work the camera. Check it out…

A big thanks to Mike and Emi for shooting!
Kennedy Allison Phillips…
Here she is….Fresh out of the oven at a whopping 8lbs. 1oz. and 21.5 inches long. These were taken with our point and shoot about 5 minutes after she was born. Carrie and Kennedy are healthy and happy. We’ll share some more pics once we do a proper photo shoot:-) We’ll be back in action next week.

Out of the Office…
Carrie and I will be out of the office this week. As you can see below, we are about to have a baby girl:-) We will respond to all emails and voice mails but please give us 48 hours since we might be a little preoccupied. We are back in action next week and will be open for business as usual…
Hopefully this will hold you over :-) We only had a few minutes to shoot since Ryder was not exactly in the mood for pictures…

Grady Greene…
Take a kid whose parents call him Mushy…

Add in a sweet pair of Gucci’s…

Throw in about 200 duckies and what do you get?

One happy kid! Seriously, Grady is the best behaved kid I have ever met. Not even a whimper…

I had to throw in one moody one.. The look matches his Ramones t-shirt
