Michelle and Eric had a wonderful ceremony at Westlake Village Inn. It was a very emotional day and my favorite moments are the reactions from their parents. Check it out…

Michelle just seems lost in time here…

It’s been about 6 months since we first photographed Avery when she was just 2 weeks old. All babies are cute but Avery is exceptionally cute! She had all sorts of little faces for us. Some sad, some happy, some just plain funny. I also got a chance to meet my two new favorite subjects Lola and Leo.

Here’s a couple shots from a great family session at the beach in Malibu. When I got to the beach there wasn’t a soul around and we had the whole place to ourselves. This is very rare in SoCal ;-)

This may be the first time I have ever posted something on the same day as I have shot it but these are so cool I had to share! Evan was a total rock-star and these are just a few of my many favorites from the session. I love the moody ones which are really funny to me because he is the happiest kid in the world, but he was showing us his rocker attitude…

A mysterious box showed up on our doorstep today.
Something completely unexpected.
It knocked us off our feet.

Diana and Glenn were married exactly one year ago today and on a day when they should be the one to get presents, it was us who received the gift. There was a a fold out breakfast tray filled with jams, pancake mix, cookies, coffees, teas, cocoa and various other chocolate bits. It was accompanied by a note:

“A year ago our dream came true
Memories last because of you
Our photos are truly treasured
And our thanks goes unmeasured”

We were floored. It is amazing to know we had such an impact on someone and this gesture is the very reason Carrie and I do what we do.

We are already booking out to the end of November so if you are waiting to get holiday pics done now would be the time to call. Our cut-off date for orders is December 1st!
